Answers to your WPC Questions

This FAQ page on Necowood WPC provides comprehensive information on various topics related to WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) material.  A : Looks and feels like natural wood; Durable, anti-impact, wear-proof, with high density; High capacity of UV-resistance, and color stability; Highly resistant to moisture and termites; Easy to be installed and low labor cost; Requires no painting, no glue, low maintenance.

A : Because WPC never rots or warps, painting and staining is not required, however with pressure-treated wood decks, these costs add up over time. After four years, the total cost of owning a WPC deck equals the cost of a pressure-treated wood deck. Over the life of the purchase, WPC offers a far greater value than wood. Clean it twice a year and you’re done so you can spend more time enjoying your outdoor living space, rather than working on it.

A: We usually ship by DHL, UPS, FedEx or TNT. It usually takes 3-5 days to arrive. Airline and sea shipping also optional.

WPC, or Wood Plastic Composite, varies in composition based on its intended use. In our factory:

For indoor wood-plastic products, the composition is as follows:

Wood powder: 20%
Calcium powder: 25%
Additives: 5%
For outdoor wood-plastic products, the composition is:

Recycled PE plastic: 35%
Wood powder: 60%
Functional additives: 5%
The production process involves blending these materials together, applying heat and pressure to form a homogeneous mixture, and then extruding or molding it into the desired shapes.
